NEET Cut off FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)

Yes! Students who will clear the NEET exam will be eligible to participate in the counseling process. However, that does not guarantee admission to a medical or dental seat.
NEET Cutoff is the minimum qualifying percentile to be achieved to pass the NEET UG entrance test.
It is made up of five stages such as NEET Registration, Filling in the Application form, Uploading documents such as scanned photographs, mark sheets and certificates, Payment of fee, and Printout of the confirmation page.
NEET Cutoff is decided by the NMC and DCI and it is fixed at the 50th percentile for the unreserved category. It is 40 percentile for reserved category candidates. But the percentile depends on the relative score (which may change) of all the aspirants appearing for the exam. Hence, the corresponding marks to the percentile vary every year. It could be because the performance of the candidates also keeps on changing.
There is no such limit on the number of NEET attempts. The candidates can appear as many times as they want, provided they are fulfilling the other eligibility criteria.
